Booked last minute via ‘late rooms’. What a find, this will be where we stay in Glasgow from now on. We stayed in Apartment 21, top of 3 flights of stairs, opened the door to a HUGE one bedroom apartment. Beautiful large bathroom, separate kitchen, lovely comfortable bedroom with walk in wardrobe, wifi, DVD, CD, great TV….absolutely nothing to criticise. If you really pushed me – a couple of pillows for the sofa, and the bedroom skylight lets lots of light in if you like a dark room in the morning! How good id that that thats all I can think of. It is out from the city centre a mile or so, but near the Kelvingrove Museum, and Botanic Gardens (beautiful). and so so quiet. Free on street parking. Five stars deserved from me. We’ll be back plenty!

I booked here recently for a weekend getaway and had a great time. The apartments are in a nice, quiet area in Glasgow’s West End and the unusually summer late September day was a bonus I didn’t expect. I had booked a small studio, expecting everything in 1 room with a small but conspicuous kitchen area in the corner. I was most pleasantly surprised to find the small studio is actually a decent sized room with a separate kitchen and bathroom with a bath – not just a shower. The man at reception was friendly and helpful and was happy to show me the back gardens. Unfortunately my alarm clock failed the next morning, but I was granted an extra half hour to vacate without any problem. I would definitely stay at these apartments again

Huge, beautifully furnished room in great west end setting. Very clean, quiet and spacious, but only short walk to West End (great Western road/Byers Road)

We decided to stay at the Whitehouse as we could book self catering (rather than a hotel) for our holiday and we loved it. The standard of accommodation was very high and we were very impressed by the staff from the outset, sorting a booking error by immediately upgrading us without any fuss or question; quite superb. The accommodation was sparkling clean, well decorated and furnished to a very high standard. The bathroom was huge as was the living room and the kitchen was a good size too. The bedrooms had plenty of space and the beds themselves were very comfortable. The location was perfect as Cleveden Crescent is gorgeous, tucked away in the vibrant West End yet close to the City Centre. As a bonus it is very easy to access the Highlands from here as well. Finally our thanks to the staff of the Whitehouse for helping to make our week nothing short of fantastic. I have no doubt that we will be back

On a tranquil crescent just west of the Botanical Gardens, this well-managed group of Victorian town houses has more than 30 apartments—studios to two bedrooms—that can be rented from a night to as long as a year, with considerable reductions along the way. The apartments are spacious and individually decorated, with kitchens and living areas with sofas and chairs. Some are more contemporary than others, but it’s hard to beat the space, views, location, or the peace and quiet—not to mention the surprisingly good value. The lobby is very Scottish, with tartan carpets, and elaborate chandeliers pepper the corridors and stairways. The helpful staff can point you in any direction you need to go.
